Signe Langford

Restaurant chef-turned-writer, Signe tells stories and creates recipes for such publications as The Toronto Star, Our Homes, and Hobby Farms. Her award-winning book – Happy Hens & Fresh Eggs; Keeping Chickens in the Kitchen Garden, with 100 Recipes – was published in 2015. She’s studied Fine Arts and Humanities at the University of Toronto, York and OCAD University; and earned a Wine Specialist Certificate from George Brown College. Signe writes the Food & Drink column for Watershed as well as a new foodie column (see the fall issue for details).
