Deep Pop: The Evolution of a Movement Group Exhibition

April 23

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until May 24, 2021

Free

The Oeno Gallery welcomes you to a video walk-through of this group exhibition featuring artists Adam Cohen, Carole Feverman, Tim Forbes, Shayne Dark, Lori Cozen-Geller and Sylvain Louis-Seize. In this exhibition, iterations of the Pop movement bridge with styles such as minimalism, monumentalism, graffiti art, and abstraction, and become more personal and begin to package deep symbolism in a deceptively shiny package. Hallmarks of contemporary Pop are highly skilled craftsmanship and execution, bold colour, alluring material quality, and subtle symbolism.
