The Gilmour Project at Empire Theatre
May 24 @ 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
$70.66
This concert will be divided into two sets: The first set will be Dark Side Of The Moon, and the second will be a performance of various musical masterpieces from David Gilmour’s/Pink Floyd. The Gilmour Project is the only band since Blue Floyd in 2000 endeavoring to take these songs ‘out’, speaking in jazz protocol, without disregarding the cherished classic hooks, licks and musical phrases. Acclaimed musicians Jeff Pevar (lead guitar with CSN, David Crosby, Phil Lesh, Ray Charles), Kasim Sulton (bass & vocals with Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, Meatloaf, Blue Oyster Cult, Hall & Oates, Cheap Trick & Patti Smith), and Prairie Prince (co-founder of The Tubes, & drums with Todd Rundgren, Jefferson Starship, Phil Lesh), Mark Karan (guitar & vocals with Bob Weir, RatDog, The Other Ones), and Scott Guberman (keyboard & vocals with Phil Lesh) will take the music of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd to places it has never gone before. Tickets are $60.41 or $70.66.
