The artists in this exhibition draw attention to the art of form. Using blocks of colour, expressive line, texture, light, juxtapositions of scale, and raw materiality like glass frit and bronze, each artist champions the formal vocabulary of their medium in a novel way. A Traditional Robert Burns Supper
The Cobourg Highland Games are holding a traditional Robert Burns Supper including Shin of Galloway (beer-braised roast sirloin of beef topped with a Scotch whisky sauce), tatties, neeps and, of course, haggis. For dessert, a Cranachan (Scottish trifle) with tea and coffee, will be served. A Highland Dance demonstration will also be presented. Only 50 tickets will be sold (online through website).
