Using blocks of colour, expressive line, texture, light, juxtapositions of scale, and raw materiality like glass frit and bronze, each artist champions the formal vocabulary of their medium in a novel way. Canadian artist, Andrew Csafordi, introduces his latest collection of encaustic paintings – "Heartscapes: Exploring the Colourful Landscapes of the Human Heart". This exhibition and sale will take place online at andaragallery.com. Csafordi was inspired by the heart shape that is a familiar modern symbol in our daily lives and imagination.

All Ages Cook-Off Challenge

The Quinte West Public Library is hosting an all ages cook-off challenge in February. You are invited to make pancake art! Take a picture of your creation and email it to vanessa.pritchard@quintewest.ca by February 20th to be entered into a draw for cooking-related prizes. Be sure to indicate if the entry is from an adult or child (with child's age).

Build a Birdhouse Online Event for Seniors

Prince Edward Community Care will provide all participants with materials to create a birdhouse out of wood. A hammer and wood glue are required and not included. Shelter Buddies Show & Tell for Children 3-10

Children aged 3 to 10 are welcome to join the Cobourg Public Library and Northumberland Humane Society for a virtual show & tell about animals. Share fun facts about a favourite pet, stuffed animal, picture, toy, or even an imaginary animal friend!
