Wind & Water Writing Contest


The Prince Edward County Arts Council (County Arts) is pleased to announce the return of the 4th annual Wind & Water Writing Contest! This year’s theme is Transformation. We are asking entrants from the Quinte and Prince Edward County regions to interpret the theme in unique, exciting and creative ways for a host of prizes, recognition and celebration. The submission deadline is March 31st, 2022.


Call For Entries – Parrott Gallery Juried Show

John M. Parrott Art Gallery 254 Pinnacle Street, Belleville

Quinte area artists are invited to submit their artwork to the Parrott Gallery’s juried show, Shifting Narratives. We encourage artwork in all media and hope for a variety of unique interpretations of this theme. Each artist may submit a maximum of two pieces. Works must be original and must not have been previously displayed or exhibited in the Quinte area. The entry fee is $20.


Paper Cuts Exhibition Presented by Elayne Windsor

Scugog Arts Space 175B Queen Street, Port Perry

Collage is an extremely versatile medium; just add imagination and cut! Paper Cuts is an exhibition that takes an in-depth and fresh look at collage. This exhibit, presented by artist Elayne Windsor, will take viewers on a journey of color and texture. Often mistaken for paintings, Elayne’s work uses various types of paper (maps, newspaper, gift wrap, sewing patterns, etc.) to create details and spark imagination.


Dungeons & Dragons Online Group

The Cobourg Public Library is launching its first ever Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) group for adults (ages 18+)! For D&D online, players will use Zoom to play the game and connect with each other in real time. No downloads are necessary. A computer with an internet connection is required to participate in this program. Registration is required and space is limited.
