Songwriting and Creative Dance for Kids
County Arts Lab 206 Main Street, Unit 1G, PictonThis is a new offering - a collaborative 6-week songwriting and choreography project! Every week, Musician Kat Burns will guide participants as they explore sound and sonic textures through experimentation with a variety of effects pedals and keyboards. For 3 of the 6 classes, Kat will be joined by Dancer and Choreographer Arwyn Carpenter, who will lead participants through creative dance exercises.

Pure Joy Dance for Children with Hollie Graham
Empire Inn & Suites 6 Stanley Street, BloomfieldLearn how to have fun with music! Hollie Graham brings joy to dancing with a class focused on fun movement, and dance numbers. This is a 10-week class that runs on Saturdays. Each class is 45 minutes long and is geared to children between the ages of 3 and 7. Hollie has been inspiring the love of dance in children and adults for more than two decades. She has trained in several forms of dance with a focus on technique and artistry.
Firelight Lantern Festival in Picton
Crystal Palace 375 Picton Main Street, Picton, OntarioThe Department of Illumination is ready to light up the night with a special anniversary edition of The Firelight Lantern Festival, a cherished Prince Edward County tradition since 2013. This year, for the first time, the festival has expanded to two magical evenings of arts and music with the theme The Enchanted Forest. On Friday, the Firelight Lantern Festival will be a 19+ evening. Saturday sees the return of the Firelight Lantern Festival’s beloved Lantern Parade in an all-ages event starting in Benson Park and making its way to the Crystal Palace.
