Lived Experience Show at 2Gallery

2gallery is excited to present a solo show of new mixed-media paintings by artist Hazelle Palmer. This extraordinary collection of paper collage and acrylic works, entitled Lived Experience, captures the flurry of emotions and experiences which occurred during the pandemic.

Cross Cut Exhibit at Lang Pioneer Village

Lang Pioneer Village 104 Lang Road, Keene, Ontario

The Cross Cut: Traditional Ontario Folk Songs Revisited Exhibit will be on display at the Peterborough County Agricultural Building. CBC’s Edith Fowke collected folk songs in rural Ontario during the 1950s—many in Peterborough County. Traditional music came to Ontario with European settlers. Lyrics and tunes were adapted to local experiences and the personal preferences of the players, and these offer a reflection of society at different moments in history.


POSE Exhibition at AGN

Art Gallery of Northumberland 55 King Street West, Cobourg, Ontario

POSE is a skill-building exhibition, designed to contextualize the nude portraits and sketches from the Art Gallery of Northumberland’s Permanent Collection within the wider history of the genre. The featured nine works range from expressive and gestural to strategically posed and methodically executed.


Juried Art Show at Parrott Gallery

Scugog Arts May Show

Afternoon Book Club at Belleville Public Library

The Gilmour Project at Empire Theatre

This concert will be divided into two sets: The first set will be Dark Side Of The Moon, and the second will be a performance of various musical masterpieces from David Gilmour’s/Pink Floyd. The Gilmour Project is the only band since Blue Floyd in 2000 endeavoring to take these songs ‘out’, speaking in jazz protocol, without disregarding the cherished classic hooks, licks and musical phrases.
