BOBCAYGEON GARDEN TOUR & TEA

Bobcaygeon Horticultural Society Garden Tour and Tea.

Save the date! That is, if you love exceptional gardens, music, art and a little shopping.

Visit six private gardens enhanced with exhibits on such topics as composting, invasive plants and pollinators.

Included is admission to Kawartha Settlers’ Village (KSV) for tea and to the Boyd Heritage Museum exhibit of 19th century garden artifacts and photos. Within the stone walls of the museum grounds, local vendors offer plants, seeds, home baked goods and other irresistible items. Finally, acquire a treasure at the “artists’ garden”, a lovely wooded property where local craftspeople will display their creations.

Tickets: $15, include admission to KSV ($7.00 value) and to the Boyd Heritage Museum

An annual show in its 26th year held on July 20th and 21st, 10am - 4pm each day and taking place in Kathryn McHolm's garden in the Village of Welcome.

Items related to the garden (soaps, candles, artwork, tinworks, fibre arts, vintage this and thats, plants, delectable goodies, etc.) are displayed amongst the shrubs, flowers and trees and in the studio.

Visitors can take a self guided tour through the Monarch Waystation (since 2010) and Certified Wildlife Friendly Habitat (Canadian Wildlife Federation - 2018) and check out all the ecological and practical techniques used to maintain a "natural" garden/habitat.
