AccessAbility Awareness Day in Brighton

May 31 @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Free

To recognize AccessAbility Awareness Day, the Municipality of Brighton’s Accessibility Advisory Committee has put together an event filled with engaging interactive activities that highlight the importance of awareness, community education and ‘moving forward together’ as a more inclusive community for all.

Engage in activities that highlight the importance of accessibility in our community:
-Understand the importance of auditory cues.
-Understand the challenges associated with mobility restrictions.
-Experience navigating downtown in a wheelchair.

To help create a more inclusive and accessible community for all, the Accessibility Advisory Committee invites you to fill out our accessibility feedback survey. This survey provides community members with an opportunity to share their input on accessibility in the Municipality while also working towards closing the gaps in inaccessibility.
