County Adaptation Film Festival

Prince Edward County’s only film festival explores the art of adaptation on film, spotlights screenwriters and furthers dialogue for curious minds in the County and beyond. We kick off the Festival with an Opening Night Gala Screening at the Regent Theatre followed by a Big Bash party in Armoury Square.
With an introduction and post-show discussion about the transition of WIDOW CLICQUOT from page to screen, we launch the festival with a wine-centric film in honour of the County’s winemaking talents. Everyone is welcome at the party! It’s free, with no tickets required! Come out for a night to remember.
Day 2 of the Festival is jam-packed day with activities across the County – three screenings, free family activations including a VR experience and an in-depth conversation at Closson Chase Vineyards with special guests!
Day 2 features Pathways to Truth & ReconciliACTION, a series of indigenous-led events including a screening of THE SECRET PATH. Tickets are only required for the screening. All other events in the series are free and open to all.
On Day 3 of the Festival, join us for our last conversation featuring readings from an in-development screenplay by Mark Sakamoto at The Eddie Hotel & Farm. Then we’ll wrap up the festival back at the Regent Theatre with a final screening joined by some special guests.
