Picton Pick-up

Want to give back to the place you call home but aren’t quite sure how? A great place to start is helping to share the responsibility of caring for the land, which includes picking up trash!
From June to October, Feral Folc and the Picton BIA are working in partnership to host gatherings for anyone interested and able to help tidy up around town.
Everyone is welcome. There is no fee to participate. Bonus: we’ll share historical and botanical facts along the way!
Thanks to the Picton BIA, all garbage and recycling bags, gloves, hand-sanitizer, bag tags, and snacks are supplied. We will ensure that all the waste collected is properly disposed of.
Just bring yourself dressed to be outdoors rain or shine and safely pick up garbage. You may wish to bring your own supplies, wagon, or pick-up sticks.
Meet us at outside the Picton BIA office (at the Regent Theatre). We’ll walk together to the street(s)/location(s) for pick-up.
