Wellington Pumpkinfest

Wellington Pumpkinfest is an annual celebration held in Wellington, Ontario, featuring a vibrant mix of family-friendly activities, a parade, live entertainment and pumpkin weigh-offs where growers compete for the heaviest pumpkin.
Events kick off with a parade, followed by a kid’s zone on the front lawn of CML Snider Elementary School, local artisan vendor sale in Wellington Park, live entertainment and food trucks, along with many other activities throughout the village. The gem of the event is the giant pumpkin weigh-off taking place at CML Snider’s east parking lot starting around noon.
The festival showcases the community spirit and agricultural heritage of the region, and draws locals and visitors alike, creating a fun and engaging environment for all ages.
New features this year include County Axe, a mobile axe throwing experience in Wellington Park from 10am until 2pm, a pumpkin pie contest at Rise Coffee Coffee on Wellington Main Street, and a kid’s pumpkin carving contest at the cenotaph/entrance to the park.
