Prince Edward Community Care invites seniors to join Krys Baklinski and Michael Gelman for a 12-week in-person tai chi series at the Bloomfield Town Hall. Classes for beginners will run from 9:45am-10:45am and classes for intermediates will run from 11:00am-12:00pm. The cost is $12.00 per person.

Combining physical activity and mental stimulation, Minds in Motion unfolds to laughter and chatter, with new friendships forming and stories being shared. This is an eight-week program.

Why is Space so Important?
Northumberland Learning Connection welcomes Marc Garneau, the first Canadian to fly in Space in 1984 – 40 years ago. He is a Recipient of the NASA Exceptional Service Medal (1997), three NASA Space Flight Medals (1984, 1996, 2000), and eleven Honorary Doctorates. Mr. Garneau was named a Companion of the Order of Canada in 2003 and served as Chancellor of Carleton University from 2003 to 2008.
