THE MAGIC OF MORELS
I thoroughly enjoyed Roger Thomas’s article on morels in your last issue (Spring 2020, The Magic Morel). I was in Yellowknife a few years ago and picked up a copy of Up Here magazine which had another great article about morels. The article is available on-line at https://uphere.ca/articles/boom-morel-mushroom-harvest-begins
Keep writing and keep hunting for morels!

THE UPS AND DOWNS OF RURAL INTERNET
Congratulations Watershed magazine and Chris Cameron. I enjoyed reading the piece on rural internet service. What I loved about the article were the four different perspectives that summed up Internet technology and its issues. Each vignette encapsulated a specific challenge. The well-defined conclusion was especially welcome to reinforce the challenges faced by users and present what help may be in store. The backgrounder on facts about Internet on the page facing the end of the article was also helpful.
Finally, I loved the tin can communication and how the twine-optic cables stretched across the pages.

EVERY SINGLE ISSUE
A note to say thank you for the Spring issue on line! I have enjoyed every single issue of Watershed since I first discovered it at New Amherst Homes a couple of years ago!
It was such a pleasure to find it on-line this morning – an everyday joy in trying times!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone on the team!

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
In a time when things feel somewhat bleak and grim, out comes the latest issue of Watershed. Truly a breath of fresh air from cover to cover. It is hopeful, informative and downright gorgeous. A brief respite from the ‘new normal’ we find ourselves in. Just what we need right now. Thank you.
