PAWS for Reading at Belleville Library

March 28 @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Event Series Event Series (See All)
Free

PAWS for Reading is a program that allows children to read aloud to a therapy dog in order to improve reading and communication skills. Children will read individually to a trained therapy dog (and handler) in our 1st Floor Program Room where they can feel comfortable, confident — and have fun! After all, a dog will not correct them or make them feel awkward if they stumble.

This program is for beginner/reluctant readers ages 5 and up. Register for 15-minute sessions.
