The Maker’s Hand – 20th Anniversary Edition
The Maker’s Hand celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024!
Experience and take home one-of-a-kind art by artisans from Ontario and Quebec. 2D fine art is a new category this year, with stunning work available that’s perfect for filling any empty spot in your home.
To mark this special anniversary year, show organizers will shower visitors in gifts from participating artisans! There are 20 handmade objects to award to every 100th visitor. This could be you!
Entry is $5 for unlimited access all weekend long; children under 12 get in for free. Admission is payable by cash, credit, or debit on site.
There will be an All Are Welcome Hour on November 10th from 10:00am – 11:30am to ensure that people with sensory, mobility, and other disability-related needs can more readily engage with the arts. The lights and music will be dimmed/lowered, exhibitors will be prepared to engage with all visitors, and there is free entry for assistants of persons with a disability. The show will be open to the general public at this time, but it is a traditionally quieter time to visit. We thank Pina D’Intino and David Wysocki of Aequum Global Access Inc. for assisting us with this special initiative.
There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance, washrooms, and wide aisles for ease of movement. Accessible parking is located 5 metres from the Highline Hall entrance.
