Learn to Play Cello Course for Adults
County Arts Lab 206 Main Street, Unit 1G, PictonThis course is designed for those with no musical background and no prior experience with the cello. Participants will first learn about proper setup, including healthy body alignment, good bow usage, and appropriate left arm positioning. Once a strong foundation is established, strategies will be introduced to help guide participants towards creating beautiful tone and good pitch.
Workshop – Hand Build Earthenware Planters

Participants will learn a variety of techniques used in hand building, a clay forming technique that involves shaping the clay material without a pottery wheel, using one's hands and simple tools.
Ode to Van Gogh for Young Painters
County Arts Lab 206 Main Street, Unit 1G, PictonKids' Creation Club is back with a very special 3-week course - Ode to Van Gogh! Young artists will learn about the art of one of the most influential figures in western art history - the celebrated Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh. Each week will focus on a different work, with participants recreating their own versions of three of his most famous paintings. For artists 6-8 years of age.
Six-Week Short Fiction Writing Workshop
County Arts Lab 206 Main Street, Unit 1G, PictonExplore and learn the art of short story writing with Andrew Binks! In this 6-week, hands-on, pen-to-paper workshop, participants will be introduced to the elements of short story writing through an engaging series of prompts, examples, and other exercises. They will learn about and practice various forms of short story writing, and learn strategies for increasing their perception to see and write the stories that exist within and around them.
