40th Annual Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny event is taking place Saturday April 11, 2020. Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny is a 10km race along the Ganaraska River to commemorate the 1980 flood that devastated Port Hope’s downtown area, and celebrate the community spirit and resilience that rose in the face of this natural disaster. Port Hope Movies in the Park
Join us for an outdoor movie in Memorial Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to our open air theatre in downtown Port Hope. A fun and free family activity, under the stars. Show time is dusk. Film titles to be announced. Some concessions will be available for purchase at the event. The Movies in the Park program offers four outdoor movie nights in Port Hope. All the date are: June 30, July 15, July 29 & August 12.

Port Hope Terry Fox Run
The 40th annual Terry Fox Run is scheduled for Sunday September 20, 2020. Registration opens at 8:00am on the lawn behind Town Hall (56 Queen St). The mass start takes place at 9:00am! This is a national fundraiser for innovative cancer research. It is a walk/run/bike event. Participants have the choice of a 10km or 1km route. The 84th annual Port Hope Santa Claus Parade. A spectacular cavalcade of festive sights and sounds featuring a host of exceptional bands along with floats from many local businesses, clubs and community groups will make its way through the streets of Port Hope.
