Colour as a Form of Expression

County Arts Lab 206 Main Street, Unit 2E, Picton

In this 6-week colour theory course, Julie Seddon will teach participants (ages 18+) traditional colour theory exercises such as the colour wheel and monochromatic scale. Drawing from art history, students will come to understand acrylic paints' range of effects and create a series of studies to put what they learn into practice.

Paper Marbling at County Arts Lab

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the process of creating one-of-a-kind marbled papers, which will include a discussion of tools and materials, as well as tips and techniques. Foundational patterns will be demonstrated and participants will have the opportunity to produce these patterns using various colour combinations.
