Giveaway Days in Belleville
City of Belleville BellevilleGiveaway Days are back in Belleville! Belleville residents are encouraged to clean up around the house and put any unwanted and gently used items to the curb for others to enjoy or go hunting for new-to-you treasures around town. Be sure to have your items at the curb by 8 am and bring any remaining items in by 8 pm.
Vintage Film Festival
Cameco Capitol Arts Centre 20 Queen St, Port HopeThe 31st annual Vintage Film Festival in Port Hope celebrates great directors. The movies on this year’s program span more than half a century (from 1921 to 1974) and a range of genres: musical, suspense, comedy (including black comedy and screwball comedy), crime, melodrama, western and neo-noir. They also include two silent films, which will be accompanied live on the piano by VFF favourite Jordan Klapman.
