The aim of the NHSG is to encourage and promote a sincere interest in embroidery, needlework and creative stitchery arts. Meetings are 2nd and 4th Tuesdays monthly at the Lions Community Centre in Cobourg. All levels of experience are welcome.

Spend two beautiful fall mornings learning the art of landscape sketching with Aidan Haley! During the first class at the County Arts Lab, participants will be introduced to the basics of landscape composition. For the second class, participants will head outdoors where a peaceful natural setting will serve as their muse.

Learn how to have fun with music! Hollie Graham brings joy to dancing with a class focused on fun movement, and dance numbers. This is a 10-week class that runs on Saturdays. Each class is 45 minutes long and is geared to children between the ages of 3 and 7. Hollie has been inspiring the love of dance in children and adults for more than two decades. She has trained in several forms of dance with a focus on technique and artistry.

Kids' Creation Club returns to the County Arts Lab with a new and unique Art Journaling course with Angela Lavender! In this 6-week artistic adventure, young artists will explore a variety of mixed media and layering techniques as they create their very own art journal. For ages 5-8 or 9-12.

Come and pour your heart out with Fluid Artist Sherry Heyliger! Acrylic Pouring is a simple and fun way to create beautiful abstract art. Sherry will share a robust suite of fluid art techniques, teaching participants the basic chemistry, and beginner and intermediate techniques, of acrylic pouring.

This is a new offering - a collaborative 6-week songwriting and choreography project! Every week, Musician Kat Burns will guide participants as they explore sound and sonic textures through experimentation with a variety of effects pedals and keyboards. For 3 of the 6 classes, Kat will be joined by Dancer and Choreographer Arwyn Carpenter, who will lead participants through creative dance exercises.

Visit the Picton Town Hall Farmers' Market, featuring growers and makers from Prince Edward County. Located at the corner of Ross & King Streets in downtown Picton.

Join textile and fibre-focused artist educator Bethany Garner for a new course exploring two unique textile art techniques at the County Arts Lab! In the first two classes, participants will learn to build colour on cloth to create their own stunning, one-of-a-kind palettes of colour, design, and texture. The second half of the course will focus on the art of the handmade stitch.

The Roseneath Carousel is back. This fully restored, rideable antique carousel features 40 wooden horses and 2 boats with music from a 1934 Wurlitzer Band Organ, complete with paper rolls.
