catherine stutt

A journalist for more than 40 years, Catherine is constantly in awe of the power of 26 letters and a handful of punctuation marks. Catherine and her husband Darryl traded the rocks and trees and lakes of Muskoka for the rolling hills of Northumberland in the last century and she credits an early career as a police dispatcher for a joyous perspective on the lives of others. She is a co-founder of the Brighton Digital Archives, volunteers with the famed and fabulous Codrington Farmers’ Market, and grows heirloom tomatoes. She was the co-founder and editor of the award-winning 8 Wing Matters, former editor of County and Quinte Living, and is honoured to join Team Watershed.
