Birding from the Balcony to Saving Bird Lives

April 19 @ 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Free

Birding can take many forms – from hiking for miles across various landscapes to birding close to home. In this presentation, Ted Cheskey will discuss the transition from car-dependent listing to birding from the balcony. Ted is doing his part to save bird lives in his yard and in his country. Life has been pretty good, despite the bumpy road, and he looks forward to sharing his story and a few things he has learned along the way.

Ted is a life-long birder and naturalist. Along his life’s trajectory, he has spent about half of his professional career as a nature educator and half in conservation work, with a focus on birds.

This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the meeting starts at 7:30 pm. Registration is required to attend in person. For questions, to register, or to attend by Zoom, email willowbeachfn@gmail.com.
