Introduction to Portrait Photography

This 6-week beginner to intermediate photography course on portraiture aims to equip participants (ages 18+) with essential skills in portrait photography. Throughout the course, students will learn about various types of portraits, essential equipment and settings, natural and artificial lighting techniques, composition, posing, and creative approaches.
By the end of the course, participants will have created a mini portfolio showcasing their work, including environmental portraits, traditional portraits, and conceptual pieces. The course includes hands-on practice and weekly assignments to reinforce learning and skill development.
Sliding scale pricing: $120 to $240 for 6 weeks, plus materials fee.
