His work includes a playful mix of motion, random objects and inspiration. For the month of May, enjoy a collection of prints, collages, and paintings on paper at the QAC gallery.

Phonotropes with Catherine Feraday Miller
County Arts Lab 206 Main Street, Unit 2E, Picton, Ontario, CanadaA phonotrope is a fun way to explore the art of animation through looping characters or shapes. Led by artist facilitator Catherine Feraday Miller, participants create a simple repeating movement over 16 frames on a paper disc. They can draw, paint, use collage – even sculpt simple forms with plasticine clay. Rotating on a record player, the images are synced to the class camera’s shutter speed and recorded as looping video.
